Rooted in the heart of the Pacific, Bay Farms is a 15-acre agricultural venture dedicated to sustainable and regenerative farming. With a strong commitment to soil health, biodiversity, and local food security, we cultivate taro, kava, vegetables, and root crops using eco-friendly techniques that respect both the land and its people. Supplying fresh, nutritious produce to local markets, Bay Farms is planting the seeds of resilience, one crop at a time. Try our newly matured, 4 year old Noble Kava, Bay Roots!
Led by Associate Professor Apisalome Movono, Bay Consultants is a specialist advisory service at the forefront of sustainable tourism, community development, change management, and public sector reform. With deep expertise in systems integration and Indigenous-led development, we support governments, development partners, and communities across the Pacific in designing practical, culturally grounded, and resilient solutions that foster inclusive progress and long-term impact.
Scheduled to begin construction in mid-to-late 2026, Soqulu Heights Lodge is a regenerative homestead and eco-retreat designed to blend comfort with sustainability. Nestled in one of Fiji’s most vibrant birdwatching and nature-rich areas, the lodge will offer eco-conscious accommodation, farm-to-fork culinary experiences, and immersive nature-based activities. Soqulu Heights Lodge will be a sanctuary for travelers seeking meaningful connection to land, food, and culture, where every stay supports conservation, community, and regenerative living.
Bay Roots
Bay Roots is a proud member of the Bay Family of Small Businesses, dedicated to cultivating premium noble kava and promoting regenerative agriculture in Fiji. Perched over 1,200 metres above sea level on the lush slopes of Taveuni’s Mount Uluiqalau, our farms produce some of the highest-quality kava in the Pacific—fertilizer-free, weedicide-free, and grown with care.

Our approach to slow farming honours traditional knowledge while embracing sustainable techniques that restore soil health, support biodiversity, and build resilience. While our specialty is noble kava, our farm is home to a vibrant mosaic of native trees, fruit crops, root vegetables, and seasonal produce that contribute to local food systems and climate-smart practices.
